Adapt the checklist before each first visit

  1. Confirm the scope. Agree which rooms and tasks are included, the expected visit length, and which extras are separately priced. An oven interior, inside a fridge, or interior windows should be an explicit agreement.
  2. Record each home’s preferences. Note access instructions, pets, rooms to skip, fragile belongings, and surface-care instructions in the client profile. Keep access codes on your secured device rather than on a printed sheet.
  3. Choose a practical order. Group tasks by room and allow time to check completed work before leaving. Use the client’s and product manufacturer’s surface-care instructions.
  4. Review the visit. Note any unfinished work and discuss changes before the next clean. A checked box records a completed task; it does not replace agreement about the service.

Use it for weekly and biweekly clients

Keep a consistent base checklist for recurring visits, then add tasks agreed for that home. If a client requests a deeper clean, review the scope and price before adding the extra work. Avoid assuming that every task belongs in every visit.

Keep a checklist for each client on your iPhone

In SoloSuds, create a reusable room-by-room template and assign it to a client. Each visit keeps its own saved checklist, so you can tick off the work on-site, including when you have no cell service. Keep client notes, recurring schedules, PDF invoices, and manually entered mileage alongside your visit records.

Can I use this without SoloSuds?

Yes. Print or save the checklist and adapt it for your own residential cleaning visits. The printable resource is free and does not require a subscription.

Is this a deep-cleaning checklist?

It is a starting checklist for routine residential visits. Add separately agreed deep-cleaning tasks and remove anything outside the service you have promised.

Does the printable sync with the app?

No. Paper and PDF copies are separate from SoloSuds. Set up and check off your digital templates inside the app.
