Privacy Policy + Terms of Use
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
pouchDown helps you quit nicotine pouches. We believe that journey is personal. This policy explains what we do (and don't do) with your information.
No account required
You do not need to create an account, provide an email, or give us your name to use pouchDown. The app works on your device without connecting to a pouchDown account system.
Your data stays on your device
Your logs, cravings, streaks, and progress information are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not upload, sync, or back up this data to our servers. If you delete the app, that local data is removed.
We don't sell or share your data
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. Because most data is stored locally, we do not have access to it in the first place.
Analytics and diagnostics
We may use Apple-provided crash reporting or anonymous analytics to understand app stability and usage trends. These tools do not identify you personally and do not access your pouch logs or journal entries.
App Store purchases
Transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple shares limited transaction data with us according to their privacy policies.
Children's privacy
pouchDown is not intended for children under 18. We do not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you through the app or this website.
